Rhea Khan claimed her record extending 19th national women’s title while USA-based Chayse Mc Quan won his third straight men’s edition when the curtain came down on the National Squash Championship at the Queen’s Park Cricket Club Indoor Racquet Centre on Sunday night.
In the Women’s Open, 47-year-old Khan exacted revenged on two-time champion Marie Claire Barcant in an enthralling contest 9-11, 11-7, 7-11, 5-11, 11-7 to secure her 19th national women’s singles title.
And in the Men’s Open, 31-year-old USA-based Mc Quan made it three straight triumph when he swept past ten-time national champion Colin Ramasra 11-8, 11-6, 11-5 in their decider as the latter’s wait for his 11th crown extended to a sixth year.
