Rhea Khan claimed her record ex­tend­ing 19th na­tion­al women’s ti­tle while USA-based Chayse Mc Quan won his third straight men’s edi­tion when the cur­tain came down on the Na­tion­al Squash Cham­pi­onship at the Queen’s Park Crick­et Club In­door Rac­quet Cen­tre on Sun­day night.

In the Women’s Open, 47-year-old Khan ex­act­ed re­venged on two-time cham­pi­on Marie Claire Bar­cant in an en­thralling con­test 9-11, 11-7, 7-11, 5-11, 11-7 to se­cure her 19th na­tion­al women’s sin­gles ti­tle.

And in the Men’s Open, 31-year-old USA-based Mc Quan made it three straight tri­umph when he swept past ten-time na­tion­al cham­pi­on Col­in Ra­mas­ra 11-8, 11-6, 11-5 in their de­cider as the lat­ter’s wait for his 11th crown ex­tend­ed to a sixth year.
