Devon Modeste fired in a hat trick as defending champion Ansa Bank rebounded from its shock loss to Domino's with a 4-0 blowout of Degree in the 36 to 45 Division of the Queen’s Park Cricket Club’s (QPCC) 8-A-Side Football Tournament at the Queen’s Park Oval in St Clair, Port-of-Spain on Friday.
David Rees added the other goal for Ansa Bank in the win to carry their points tally at the top of the seven-team standings with 19 points from nine matches, and three left to play, three points clear of a surging Harts who blanked fourth-placed Domino's 2-0 with Benedict Barrett, and Devon Alleyne the scorers, and have a match in hand as well on the leaders.
