Shali­ni Sama­roo, Shunelle Sawh, Djen­a­ba Joseph, Kd Jazz Mitchell, Sama­ra Ram­nath and Bri­an­na Har­richa­ran, who were part of the vic­to­ri­ous T&T Un­der-19 team that won the 2022 Ris­ing Star Re­gion­al U-19 tour­na­ment in T&T, have been named on the 14-mem­ber T&T Red Force women's team for the CG Unit­ed Su­per50 Cup and T20 Blaze re­gion­al tour­na­ment in St Kitts from March 4-26.

Har­richa­ran, 15, and 16-year-old Ram­nath are the youngest play­ers in the squad which de­parts on March 1 to An­tigua and then on to St Kitts ahead of a prac­tice day on March 3.

The Red Force Di­vas will be led by ex­pe­ri­enced Brit­ney Coop­er with bowler Kar­ish­ma Ramharack serv­ing as vice-cap­tain. The team al­so in­cludes vet­er­an play­ers Lee Ann Kir­by (bat­ter) and Kir­by­i­na Alexan­der (bowler) along with sea­soned play­ers, bowlers Caneisha Isaac and Stef­fi Soogrim.

The Di­vas will take the field against Bar­ba­dos, who is the de­fend­ing cham­pi­on in both the CG Unit­ed Su­per50 Cup and T20 Blaze. The oth­er teams are Guyana, Ja­maica, Wind­ward Is­lands and hosts Lee­ward Is­lands.

The CG Unit­ed Su­per50 Cup match­es will be played at three venues – Warn­er Park, the Cona­ree Crick­et Cen­tre, and St Paul’s Sports Com­plex – from March 4-13 with match­es start­ing at 10 am (T&T time). The T20 Blaze will run from March 17-25 at Warn­er Park with three match­es per day – start­ing at 10 am, 2.30 pm and 7 pm.
