Garvin Warwick, immediate past president of the National Basketball Federation of T&T (NBFTT), is one of three persons contesting the position of vice president of Finance and Marketing at the upcoming Caribbean Basketball Confederation (CBC) electoral assembly on February 9 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
The other two nominees for the position are Darryl Matthews of Antigua, who is currently holding the position of CBC treasurer and Leslie Collymore, president of the St Lucia Federation. Matthews is also contesting one of the two "Member at Large" positions.
Warwick was voted to join NBFTT president Claire Mitchell as the other T&T delegate at the assembly.

Warwick is a Marketing entrepreneur, who specializes in Digital Media Marketing and Advertising. He worked with the Telecommunications Company of T&T for 17 years holding different portfolios, his last being manager of Events and Sponsorship. Since then he has focused on his own business, Tailwind Ltd, with one simple goal in mind, to use creativity to solve business challenges. The company specialises in event, digital and social media management.
One of Warwick’s major achievements would be managing the full digital campaign for the 2016 Olympics for the Caribbean through CANOC Broadcasting Inc, which included the production of the television ad and all promotional videos via social media platforms. He led a team whose purpose was to stimulate Caribbean-wide participation in the Rio 2016 Olympics. A creative strategy was designed to inform educate and inspire fans and created an editorial calendar to spark conversations across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
He recently spearheaded the launch of the Ultimate Indoor Facility a unique indoor facility in the field of cricket.
