It is in­deed grat­i­fy­ing to see that we still have sen­si­ble peo­ple in T&T. I say this in the con­text of how the PNM keeps be­ing vot­ed back in­to of­fice.

I too find it a lit­tle strange that the drug com­pa­nies are will­ing to vol­un­tar­i­ly give free vac­cines to so many third world coun­tries. But know­ing peo­ple in this Gov­ern­ment, I bet they would grab from the front of this ex­per­i­men­tal line, just to give the im­pres­sion that they are do­ing some­thing. So it's re­as­sur­ing to see that peo­ple are alert to this pos­si­ble cat­a­stro­phe.

Let this Min­is­ter of Health call a PNM spe­cial fete, or meet­ing, and dis­trib­ute the tri­al vac­cines to the at­ten­dees. Dis­tri­b­u­tion must be PNM-style in this ex­per­i­ment, just like the giv­ing away of jobs and hous­es–par­ty mem­bers first.
