Parang lovers re­ceived a treat when parang band Fuego Caribeno re­cent­ly host­ed its an­nu­al Christ­mas par­ty at the Petrotrin Sports Club, Guaracara Park, Pointe-a-Pierre. Fuego Caribeno de­liv­ered parang song af­ter parang song, as pa­trons lis­tened in rapt at­ten­tion, or even twirled around the dance floor. Los Alum­nos de San Juan, 2008 NPATT parang cham­pi­on, had every­one, in­clud­ing a Span­ish-speak­ing con­tin­gent, tap­ping their feet dur­ing their live­ly per­for­mance.

The smooth sounds of Louis & The Lynx, along with pan­nist Dar­ren Shep­herd, had every­one cheer­ing for more. The per­form­ers had par­ty-go­ers groov­ing Tri­ni style across the dance floor dur­ing their song set. Pa­trons agreed that the par­ty was a huge hit and are al­ready look­ing for­ward to next year's Christ­mas par­ty.
