The me­dia was out in full force last week Wednes­day when Sweet Lime Restau­rant cel­e­brat­ed the first an­niver­sary of its suc­cess­ful month­ly Wine & Jazz con­cert se­ries. Some me­dia per­son­nel seen last week were Deb­o­rah John, An­tho­ny Alex­is, An­cil Perez, Gary Car­dinez, Ster­ling Mot­t­ley and Cyn­thia Browne-Moore. Aside from the de­lec­table hors d'oeu­vres and vin­tage wines sup­plied through the year by dis­trib­u­tors like Had­co, Am­co, Bry­dens and Mal­abar Farms, the oth­er draw­ing card to Wine & Jazz has been its ros­ter of per­form­ers.

On Wednes­day's cast were pop­u­lar acts like, Ken "Pro­fes­sor" Philmore, Michael Booth­man, Ja­son "Fridge" Seecha­ran, Lau­re­ston Spe­cial, Arthur Mar­cial, Jennly Hutchin­son, David Bap­tiste, Gail Valen­tine, Melis­sa Prescott, Tequi­la, Joel Cruick­shank, Chris Quamie, and Gail Valen­tine. Launched a year ago at the pop­u­lar Ari­api­ta Av­enue eatery in Wood­brook, with much piz­zazz, last Wednes­day John Wal­lis, CEO of Sun­ny­group of Com­pa­nies (par­ent com­pa­ny of Sweet Lime Restau­rant), was joined by sev­er­al board mem­bers, in­clud­ing Sher­ry Per­sad, Michael War­ma­ck, Ter­rance Ram­per­sad, Earl Du­ri­ty to cel­e­brate the first an­niver­sary of the Wine & Jazz month­ly se­ries.
