A few years ago my family and I put God out our thoughts and provided some socially displaced people with a hot meal and a cold beverage at the infamous Tamarind Square in Port-of-Spain. Seeing that I was beside myself with goodwill to my fellow man and was apparently breaking the law to such an extent that I can be jailed by the current mayor, I was wondering where I can give such an offering again as the season permits.
I know about the dragnet to haul some of these people before the courts for loitering and being a nuisance. However, they are back on the streets two days later. So, Mr Mayor, I was wondering if there is a coral that you have organised so I can feed such rascals without letting the spirit of the season land me in jail. Please let me know as you seem to have such an organised plan for these street dwellers.
