Twen­ty-five fea­ture-length films from the Caribbean and its di­as­po­ra will screen at the 2015 T&T Film Fes­ti­val (TTFF), which takes place from Sep­tem­ber 15�29.

The fes­ti­val an­nounced the Caribbean sec­tion of its line­up as it con­tin­ues to roll out its pro­gramme. Among the films se­lect­ed is the high­ly an­tic­i­pat­ed mu­si­cal dra­ma Bazodee, di­rect­ed by Todd Kessler and star­ring Machel Mon­tano, which will have its world pre­miere at TTFF/15, a re­lease said.

Al­so in­clud­ed in the T&T line­up of fea­ture films is Joanne John­son's fam­i­ly-friend­ly dra­ma Sal­ly's Way, which had a prize-win­ning world pre­miere at the Seat­tle In­ter­na­tion­al Chil­dren's Film Fes­ti­val ear­li­er this year.

Re-per­cus­sions: Our African Odyssey, di­rect­ed by Kim John­son, is one of the T&T doc­u­men­taries screen­ing at TTFF/15. The film–which will have its world pre­miere–fol­lows up on Pan! Our Mu­sic Odyssey, which John­son wrote and which opened last year's fes­ti­val.

In ad­di­tion to the fea­ture films, a line­up of 49 short Caribbean films–24 fic­tion films and 25 doc­u­men­taries–will screen at TTFF/15.

An­nounce­ments al­ready made for the TTFF/15 are the open­ing night film (the Hait­ian doc­u­men­tary Sweet Micky for Pres­i­dent) and the ten clas­sic Caribbean films screen­ing in cel­e­bra­tion of the TTFF's tenth an­niver­sary. Still to be an­nounced are the in­ter­na­tion­al films screen­ing in the fes­ti­val's Panora­ma sec­tion, and the ex­per­i­men­tal works of the New Me­dia sec­tion.
