Cai Drum­mond and Aal­isha Alex­is both start­ed pos­i­tive­ly as ac­tion in the RBC Ju­nior Ten­nis tour­na­ment served off at the Trinidad Coun­try Club, Mar­aval, yes­ter­day.

Com­pet­ing in the girls Un­der-10 round robin stage Drum­mond and Alex­is won their first two match­es of the com­pe­ti­tion in con­vinc­ing fash­ion. Drum­mond got past Cameron Wong 6-3, then out­last­ed El­la Car­ring­ton 6-1. Alex­is was even more dom­i­nant beat­ing Wong 6-1 and Car­ring­ton 6-0.
