Emile Ramsamy looks set to have a great day, with some very good mounts on Day Two of the Arima Race Club's (ARC) racing season.
Today, Ramsammy will team up with Derby wining trainer, Derick Mosca and champion owner, Shivam Maharaj in the feature, when he rides Gabby Gold and should continue his winning ways.
Gabby Gold was one of the best imported juveniles in in 2011 but disappointed somewhat last year, while showing that he has a lot of ability. Coming out of the Gold Cup preparation, the Mosca trained inmate should have too much firepower for her rivals over today's trip.
The Maharaj owned Gabby Gold will go to post as a warm favourite to win today's feature event over 1,750 metres, for horses rated 100-80 and continue the winning ways of former champion jockey, Emile Ramsammy.
However, she will have to be at her best to turn back the challenges of Youaresobad and Golden Dixieland which has been laid out for this.Post time for the first event today is 12.30 pm.
