The Squash As­so­ci­a­tion of T&T has an­nounced that reg­is­tra­tion for the KFC Ju­nior Squash Open com­pe­ti­tion, which runs from Thurs­day to Sun­day, will close to­mor­row. The fee to en­ter the com­pe­ti­tion is $100 with a T&TSA Mem­be­ship fee of $100. Eye­wear is manda­to­ry for com­peti­tors. Play­ers can reg­is­ter by e-mail­ing their name, con­tact num­ber and pre­ferred age group to sec­re­tary@squashtt.org.

The play­ers will be di­vid­ed in the Un­der-11, U-13, U-15, U-17 and U-19 di­vi­sions with games be­ing in a best-of-five par to 11 for­mat. Play­ers can on­ly en­ter in one age group and must be of the play­ers' cur­rent age group as of April 22, 2012.

The event is a qual­i­fy­ing event and those play­ers wish­ing to be con­sid­ered for the CASA 2012 Na­tion­al team must par­tic­i­pate. Tick­ets for "Squash Play­ers who cook" on April 27 will be on sale at the event at $100.00 per tick­et.
