A number of hard-working fathers were afforded the luxury of sitting back and enjoying a soothing and romantic evening with their special someone at the Naparima Bowl on Monday. The Jeunes Agape Youth Choir hosted its first Father's Day concert entitled, With Dads in Mind, a tribute to dedicated dads around the country. Many patrons were seen snuggling together in the cold theatre while the talented youths rendered a number of soulful performances.
With a sweet, melodious voice, Cindy Andrews brought the house down when she sang Nina Simone's Feeling Good and had the audience screaming with appreciation. Adding to the magic on the evening, Rachel Soverall's delivery of Etta James' At Last saw couples in the audience getting closer to each other. Patrons were also treated to a number of dance pieces and other artistic expressions.
