Commuters using the PTSC's Chaguanas to Port-of-Spain route got a pleasant surprise yesterday when they were offered free samples of Minute Maid's new product, Pulpy Orange Juice. The promotion and free samples started at 6 am at the PTSC Chaguanas terminus, opposite the police station, and among those lining up to taste the product included commuters, PTSC workers and security guards.
The "Pulpy Bus" pulled in around 6.20 am and then made its way to the bus stop at the Chaguanas Flyover where passengers were given a free commute into Port-of-Spain on signing a "pulpy" ticket which contained forms that would allow for the use of their photos and names in future promotional material for Minute Maid. There was also an onboard contest to compose a jingle which was won by Sheneil Burke, 19, who received the first prize of a T-shirt and a case of Pulpy Orange Juice.
