'Pulpy Bus' rides into Chaguanas

Com­muters us­ing the PTSC's Ch­agua­nas to Port-of-Spain route got a pleas­ant sur­prise yes­ter­day when they were of­fered free sam­ples of Minute Maid's new prod­uct, Pulpy Or­ange Juice. The pro­mo­tion and free sam­ples start­ed at 6 am at the PTSC Ch­agua­nas ter­mi­nus, op­po­site the po­lice sta­tion, and among those lin­ing up to taste the prod­uct in­clud­ed com­muters, PTSC work­ers and se­cu­ri­ty guards.

The "Pulpy Bus" pulled in around 6.20 am and then made its way to the bus stop at the Ch­agua­nas Fly­over where pas­sen­gers were giv­en a free com­mute in­to Port-of-Spain on sign­ing a "pulpy" tick­et which con­tained forms that would al­low for the use of their pho­tos and names in fu­ture pro­mo­tion­al ma­te­r­i­al for Minute Maid. There was al­so an on­board con­test to com­pose a jin­gle which was won by Sheneil Burke, 19, who re­ceived the first prize of a T-shirt and a case of Pulpy Or­ange Juice.
