I thank the Cepep Com­pa­ny Ltd for its on­go­ing as­sis­tance with the clean-up af­ter the hor­rif­ic dev­as­ta­tion that was caused by the heavy rain and re­sult­ing floods on Sat­ur­day morn­ing. It was a shock­ing sight wak­ing up on Sat­ur­day and see­ing the ex­tent of the dam­age wreaked by the floods. Cepep work­ers def­i­nite­ly were the hope in the midst of de­spair. The Cepep teams were seen through­out flood-hit ar­eas. I re­al­ly ap­pre­ci­ate their shared and hon­est de­ter­mi­na­tion to as­sist res­i­dents in any way they could. Noth­ing could have re­placed what I felt when I saw over 300 work­ers gen­er­ous­ly giv­ing their time to as­sist in the clean-up.

As if Cepep teams lend­ing a hand was not enough, they brought with them heavy equip­ment such as back­hoes, dump trucks, wa­ter trucks. De­bris and slush were re­moved, roads were cleared and washed, cars and fur­ni­ture were cart­ed away. Thank you Cepep, you were a bea­con of light in the mid­dle of dark­ness and you are pro­vid­ing con­tin­u­ous sup­port not on­ly to me but my neigh­bours. I com­mend the Cepep board and man­age­ment for their quick dis­patch of crews and their con­stant pres­ence. Your as­sis­tance is great­ly ap­pre­ci­at­ed.
