As Grena­da Spice Mas con­tin­ued to gain mo­men­tum as one of the Caribbean Car­ni­val head­lines, the is­land's car­ni­val fetes tuned up the fete lovers till the big day. White in the Moon­light, held at Moon­light City, La Po­terie, on the east­ern sea­coast ear­li­er this month, was con­sid­ered a ma­jor cat­a­lyst in the Grena­da fete­ing scene. The fete got pump­ing around 2 am to fa­cil­i­tate the stag­ing of oth­er events else­where on the is­land, but once it be­gan it was pace till day­light. Many of the is­land's movers and shak­ers were guests to this event, which show­cased many of the is­land's so­ca artistes and bands, unit­ing with some of the re­gion's best. This year Kes the Band was in­vit­ed to en­ter­tain the thou­sands who at­tend­ed the event. In the VIP area, guests were treat­ed to a well-stocked pre­mi­um bar and a catered buf­fet, al­low­ing for so­cial­is­ing while en­joy­ing the sweet sounds of so­ca.
