Field athlete Annie Alexander won the women's discus finals at the South Eastern Conference Championships at the University of Georgia.The University of Tennessee student threw 56.22 metres in the final round to take the gold. Alexander last won the SEC title in 2008. She goes for the Shot Put gold later today.LSU's Semoy Hackett set a personal best time of 11.17 in topping the women's 100m preliminaries.Hackett away with the second heat to improve on her previous best of 11.18 set last year.Schoolmate Ade Alleyne Forte qualified for the 400m finals set for later today.
