The Con­gress of the Peo­ple (COP) is a dead horse.Prakash Ra­mad­har, like Win­ston Dook­er­an, will even­tu­al­ly re­alise that he too is wast­ing his time and will fi­nal­ly come to the con­clu­sion that the COP was con­ceived as a break­away fac­tion of the UNC and for the sole pur­pose of re­duc­ing Bas­deo Pan­day to rub­ble so that the dis­si­dents, the po­lit­i­cal­ly naive and po­lit­i­cal­ly in­ex­pe­ri­enced could ad­vance their po­lit­i­cal am­bi­tions.That too will pass, be­gin­ning with Prime Min­is­ter Kam­la Per­sad-Bisses­sar, who is on­ly go­ing to serve as a one-term Prime Min­is­ter.The peo­ple of T&T will wit­ness a huge sur­prise at the next gen­er­al elec­tion and with that sur­prise will come bet­ter days.Watch it hap­pen.
