The In­ter­na­tion­al Caribbean Busi­ness Fair 2011 opens on No­vem­ber 10 at the Cen­tre of Ex­cel­lence, Ma­coya, and runs for four days, un­til No­vem­ber 13, from 9 am to 8 pm.Along with more than 200 booth ex­hibitors, at­ten­dees of the Ex­po will get an ex­ten­sive taste of Trinidad & To­ba­go's cul­ture. The event, which is free to the pub­lic, will pro­vide vis­i­tors with a dai­ly show­case of en­ter­tain­ment.

"En­ter­tain­ers should look at them­selves as busi­ness­men and women too," said Arts and Mul­ti­cul­tur­al­ism Min­is­ter Win­ston "Gyp­sy" Pe­ters at the re­cent me­dia launch of the 2011 T&T Busi­ness Ex­po, which was held at the Min­istry of Trade and In­dus­try con­fer­ence room, Nicholas Tow­ers, Port-of-Spain.

Min­is­ter Pe­ters stressed the im­por­tance of en­ter­tain­ers be­com­ing more fo­cused on the busi­ness as­pect of their craft.A wide va­ri­ety of com­pa­nies dis­play­ing their wares and ser­vices will be joined by sev­er­al gov­ern­ment min­istries, which are to be rep­re­sent­ed at the Ex­po.
