In an interview Boodram said she could not divulge the reasons why the cruises were cancelled as the matter was now a legal issue. She said after the Carnival cancellation, they offered to use two other ships which would have left from Barbados.However, she noted, most people did not take the offer so that trip also had to be cancelled. Asked why she was issuing bounced cheques, Boodram apologised saying there was a problem with the flow of monies from the account.She denied her company was in financial difficulties admitting that the cancellation of the cruises had affected the credibility of her company.Boodram said she had no intention of quitting but planned to continue in her endeavours to bring quality cruise-liners to T&T's shores.
