With just nine days left be­fore Christ­mas Day, many of you are at­tend­ing a pletho­ra of fes­tive events, many of them be­ing held to raise much need­ed funds for the less for­tu­nate amongst us, and oth­er well de­served phil­an­thropic ven­tures.

The lat­ter was the case when the Em­bassy of Spain teamed up with REP­SOL and Guardian Hold­ings Ltd to stage Concier­to de Navi­dad 2010. Held on Mon­day night at Queen's Hall in St Ann's, ben­e­fi­cia­ry of the ef­fort Cor­pus Christi Col­lege.

A re­lease from the Em­bassy stat­ed that, be­gin­ning this year and through this ini­tia­tive, the Em­bassy hopes to en­cour­age sol­i­dar­i­ty with those most in need, by sup­port­ing an­nu­al­ly an ex­em­plary in­sti­tu­tion in the field of so­cial work an ed­u­ca­tion. To say the least the pro­duc­tion was an over­whelm­ing suc­cess.
