Has PNM political leader Dr Keith Rowley been asleep these many years when the PNM wasted billions of our dollars in corrupt practices and cost overruns? Was he slumbering when his government plunged us into a spiralling debt trap from which we now have to extricate ourselves? So he now wakes up and beholds the charitable effort of the People's Partnership in distributing hampers to the needy and the oppressed. Instead of joining in this noble effort, he seeks to make cheap political points, which have earned him the reproaches of even his PNM supporters.
Please Keith, widen the scope of your views, break out of the PNM cocoon of self-interest and self-aggrandisement; think, my dear Keith, in terms of the national interest and welfare and behave as a national leader. Take off that balisier tie before it strangles you and then perhaps you can proclaim to all the world that you are a national representative of your constituency and our people.
