Arn­im’s Art Gal­le­ria, 27 Tra­garete Road, Port-of-Spain, trans­formed on No­vem­ber 18, in­to an ex­plo­sion of el­e­gance, colour, fash­ion, re­gal pageantry and fi­nesse with so­cial su­prema­cy and fine art, when Lisa Faye pre­sent­ed her Christ­mas col­lec­tion ti­tled Caribbean Lux­u­ry, dur­ing her so­lo art ex­hi­bi­tion, Imag­ine, that ran from No­vem­ber 11 to the 25.

Art and fash­ion lovers wit­nessed eight high-tiered mod­els do jus­tice to each flow­ing, hand-died, silk, lounge ap­par­el where art in mo­tion streamed across the very close-spaced White Car­pet.

Mod­els in­clud­ed: the first coloured Miss Uni­verse, T&T’s Janelle Pen­ny Com­mis­siong, 1977; T&T’s first Miss World, Giselle LaRonde-West 1986; Faye’s daugh­ter, Amaya Al­leyne; Miss World TT 2012, Athali­ah Samuel; first run­ner-up Miss World 2022, Da­nia Duntin; Miss T&T Uni­verse 2012, Avionne Mark; Bri Sa­van­nah; and Jen Ruth.

Among guests in at­ten­dance were: econ­o­mist Dr Mar­lene Attzs, in­ter­na­tion­al styl­ists Richard Young and Crys­tal Ivy, wife of T&T’s Prime Min­is­ter, Sharon Row­ley, Miss Uni­verse 1988 Wendy Fitzwilliam, chair­man TT Can­cer So­ci­ety As­an­ti Le Blanc, Yvonne Pop­plewell, Lisa Ghany, Faye’s moth­er, Het­ty Sargeant, hus­band, Rudd Gon­za­les, and sis­ter, Dr So­nia Telfer.
