For “less than the cost of an employee” IntelliCo AI Agency Limited has vowed to change the business landscape of the country.
The company officially launched its pioneering platform, IntelliCo Autonomous ERP, a suite of enterprise-class software which company founder Gregory Fernandez has stated will make companies in the region internationally competitive.
“One of the things that we’re going to be able to achieve is for large companies, global companies from the Caribbean and elsewhere, to be able to scale their operations at a reduced cost. So it would allow Trinidad companies, Caribbean companies, to enter markets overseas,” said Fernandez at the launch event at the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce building in Westmoorings on Wednesday.
Fernandez, who stated he had 35 years of experience in enterprise software, explained that using AI programmers enabled his team to bridge resource gaps via the software.
He explained the platform has over 150 specialised AI agents that act as virtual employees who possess their own email accounts, enabling them to automate intensive workflows like accounts payable and receivable. This he explained would allow suppliers to email bills directly to the AI, which uses vision capabilities to process invoices, match inventory, and draft ledger entries.
He, however, explained that “strict human guardrails remain in place,” such as the requirement of manual approval for all financial actions.
He added the IntelliCo software would offer an all-in-one suite spanning human resources, operations, and marketing. The system, Fernandez explained, included a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) generator, sentiment analysis for emails and meetings, a built-in virtual PBX to minimise communication costs, and real-time translation features.
He stated while the software was developed in T&T, and would cost businesses about $4,000 to purchase, with the pricing adjusted with Small and Medium Enterprises in mind and adjusted to scale of business size, the business would also pay IntelliCo a US$50 monthly fee for the service.
Fernandez said due to its international appeal, the interface is set to accept payments in US dollars as it is the currency that is accepted around the world. He stressed that IntelliCo is designed with massive global ambitions with support for multi-currency and multi-language capabilities.
Fernandez said he is planning another launch next month in Ghana, while also looking at opening in Colombia and Costa Rica before the end of the year.
