Sascha Wil­son

A 19-year-old woman is dead and five oth­ers are in­jured af­ter the ve­hi­cle they were trav­el­ling in crashed in­to a con­crete pil­lar near Gas­par­il­lo this morn­ing. 

Ker­risse Keneisha Ed­wards died at the scene. Ini­tial re­ports stat­ed that around 4:30 am she was a back seat pas­sen­ger in a sil­ver Toy­ota Field­er pro­ceed­ing south along the Solomon Ho­choy High­way. 

The dri­ver lost con­trol of the ve­hi­cle and ran off the road, slam­ming in­to a con­crete pil­lar near Har­mo­ny Hall.   

Po­lice said the dri­ver and four pas­sen­gers suf­fered in­juries and are be­ing treat­ed at the hos­pi­tal. A dis­trict med­ical of­fi­cer viewed Ed­wards' body and or­dered its re­moval to the mor­tu­ary pend­ing an au­top­sy.

The ve­hi­cle was wrecked and tak­en to the Gas­par­il­lo Po­lice Sta­tion.
