Two 17-year-olds and a 23-year-old man were ar­rest­ed for a house break­ing in­ci­dent, yes­ter­day, in the East Dry Riv­er.

Ac­cord­ing to of­fi­cial po­lice re­ports, around 7:40 am on Tues­day April 13th, a woman re­port­ed to the In­ter-Agency Task Force (IATF) Char­ford Court Base that she vis­it­ed her prop­er­ty—lo­cat­ed at Siparia Hill, East Dry Riv­er, Port-of-Spain—and ob­served that it had been bro­ken in­to and that there were per­sons still in­side.

Up­on re­ceiv­ing the re­port, a par­ty of of­fi­cers at­tached to the Base re­spond­ed. When the of­fi­cers ar­rived at the lo­ca­tion, three per­sons were dis­cov­ered on the premis­es.

The three were im­me­di­ate­ly ar­rest­ed.

The Po­lice Ser­vice con­firms that the 23-year-old sus­pect was tak­en to the Besson Street Crim­i­nal In­ves­ti­ga­tion De­part­ment (CID) pend­ing fur­ther en­quires, while the teens were tak­en to the Child Pro­tec­tion Unit Book­ing Cen­tre at the St. Joseph Po­lice Sta­tion.
