The Met Of­fice has dis­con­tin­ued the ad­verse weath­er alert which was is­sued yes­ter­day.

It says sig­nif­i­cant weath­er ac­tiv­i­ty has di­min­ished but a few lin­ger­ing show­ers are like­ly dur­ing the morn­ing with iso­lat­ed thun­der­storms in the ear­ly af­ter­noon. Gusty winds and street flood­ing can oc­cur in those ar­eas.
