The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS) has cancelled the Yellow Level Adverse Weather Alert activated earlier today, as weather conditions have eased.
The TTMS' first alert indicated that it was originally supposed to be discontinued at 5 pm.
According to the latest advisory from the Met Service:
"Impactful Thunderstorm activity over western Trinidad has reduced. Some isolated light to moderate showers could continue intermittently."
As such, the alert status is now at Green Level.
