Adverse Weather Alert discontinued

The Trinidad and To­ba­go Me­te­o­ro­log­i­cal Ser­vice (TTMS) has can­celled the Yel­low Lev­el Ad­verse Weath­er Alert ac­ti­vat­ed ear­li­er to­day, as weath­er con­di­tions have eased.

The TTMS' first alert in­di­cat­ed that it was orig­i­nal­ly sup­posed to be dis­con­tin­ued at 5 pm.

Ac­cord­ing to the lat­est ad­vi­so­ry from the Met Ser­vice:

"Im­pact­ful Thun­der­storm ac­tiv­i­ty over west­ern Trinidad has re­duced. Some iso­lat­ed light to mod­er­ate show­ers could con­tin­ue in­ter­mit­tent­ly."

As such, the alert sta­tus is now at Green Lev­el.
