Angel Angel Harps first to play in Panorama finals

Ari­ma An­gel Harps and bp Rene­gades will be first bands in their re­spec­tive cat­e­gories to per­form in Sat­ur­day’s Na­tion­al Panora­ma Fi­nal at the Queen’s Park Sa­van­nah in Port-of-Spain. Show­time is 7 pm.

The Pan Trin­ba­go pro­duced flag­ship event, Steel Crescen­do...Mu­si­cal Ex­plo­sion and Ri­val­ry will fea­ture ten medi­um and ten large con­ven­tion­al bands. The de­fend­ing cham­pi­ons in each cat­e­go­ry are Pan El­ders and Massy Trinidad All Stars, who will play in po­si­tions three and four re­spec­tive­ly.

Tick­ets priced at $700 for Grand Stand Spe­cial Re­served and $500 Grand Stand Re­served are avail­able at Pan Trin­ba­go Head Of­fice, 14-17 Park Street, Port-of-Spain, with a lim­it­ed num­ber at Pan Trin­ba­go’s South/Cen­tral Of­fice, Park Street, San Fer­nan­do.

The $400 tick­ets for Grand Stand Gen­er­al seat­ing and $450 for North Stand with com­pli­men­ta­ry food and drink are sold at se­lec­tive NL­CB out­lets through­out the coun­try.

Two lucky pa­trons can walk away with air­line tick­ets to any Caribbean Air­lines des­ti­na­tion.

In ad­di­tion to the com­pe­ti­tion as­pect, awards will be pre­sent­ed to Ray Hol­man, Mer­le Al­bi­no-De­Coteau, Orville Lon­don and Al­lan Ger­vais and Ear­line Ger­vais (posthu­mous) for their ster­ling con­tri­bu­tion to the art­form.
