Attorney-at-law and former police officer Taradath Singh was shot dead in Charlieville last evening.
The 53-year-old had survived a similar attack on September 28 at his home on Penn Street, Cunupia.
Senior police officials confirmed that the latest incident occurred at about 6.25 pm. Preliminary information indicates Singh had left the gym and was walking to his car when gunmen opened fire.
He died at the scene.
During last month’s attack, a gunman emerged from nearby bushes and fired several shots at Singh’s BMW as he arrived home.
