A Bethel man is warded in a critical condition at the Scarborough Hospital after he was stabbed multiple times yesterday evening.
Police told Guardian Media that Junior Noel also known as “Fishy” was at the Mt Pleasant Credit Union, Riseland No 3 in Carnbee, just after 3 pm when a man known to him approached him and attacked him.
Noel, 38, of Montgomery Road, Bethel was stabbed several times in his head, face, neck and forearm with a knife.
He was first taken to the Shirvan Police Station by a passerby and soon after transported to the hospital where he received emergency medical treatment for severe stab wound and heavy bleeding.
Investigations are ongoing.
