A 45-year-old San Juan man was gunned down in a gang-related incident on Wednesday afternoon.
Police reported that around 2 pm, Amin "Boogieman" De Leon, of Quarry Road, San Juan, was standing inside a parlour when a gunman approached from behind and shot him.
The assailant then fled.
Police said 12 spent 9mm shell casings, one 5.56 spent shell casing and two deformed projectiles were recovered at the scene.
The murder toll for the year now stands at 290, compared with 315 for the same period last year.
