A 33-year-old Co­corite man was shot and killed while sit­ting in his car in the park­ing lot of Su­per­pharm Diego Mar­tin, on Sun­day af­ter­noon.

Po­lice said Nes­ta Sam­my alias 'Pap­py' was in the dri­ver's seat of his white Suzu­ki Grand Vi­tara at Su­per­pharm on Sier­ra Leone Dri­ve, around 6.40 pm when a white Hyundai Elantra drove near­by.

A gun­man got out the car and shot Sam­my sev­er­al time through the door.

The gun­man got back in the Elantra and drove off.

Of­fi­cers of the West­ern Di­vi­sion Task Force and the West End Po­lice sta­tion were called in with a dis­trict med­ical of­fi­cer who de­clared Sam­my dead. He had sev­er­al charges be­fore the court.

Of­fi­cers of the Homi­cide Bu­reau of In­ves­ti­ga­tions Re­gion I are con­tin­u­ing en­quiries.
