RHON­DOR DOWLAT-ROS­TANT 

A 54-year-old man from Cou­va was ar­rest­ed dur­ing a Strike Back op­er­a­tion by po­lice of­fi­cers who re­cov­ered a quan­ti­ty of Firearm and Am­mu­ni­tion.

Ac­cord­ing to a po­lice re­port, the ex­er­cise was con­duct­ed in the Cou­va dis­trict be­tween 6pm and 9pm on Wednes­day by CDTF area South and Cou­va CID and a search war­rant was ex­e­cut­ed at the man's home at Ex­change Cou­va.

Dur­ing the search the of­fi­cers found a cache of high pow­ered ri­fles and am­mu­ni­tion.

The man was sub­se­quent­ly de­tained for ques­tion­ing.
