Po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing the theft of sev­er­al items from a Laven­tille gro­cery store, for which an ex­ter­mi­na­tor is be­ing sought as a per­son-of-in­ter­est.

Po­lice said the ex­ter­mi­na­tor was hired by the own­er of the gro­cery store to con­duct pest con­trol at the busi­ness place.

How­ev­er, as the own­er re­turned to the es­tab­lish­ment last week, he no­ticed sev­er­al car­tons of cig­a­rettes and eight bot­tles of Pun­cheon miss­ing.

Besson Street Po­lice were called in and checked se­cu­ri­ty cam­eras at the busi­ness place where the ex­ter­mi­na­tor was found steal­ing the goods.

In­ves­ti­ga­tors es­ti­mate the to­tal val­ue of items miss­ing amounts to $46,375.
