Four men were ar­rest­ed by of­fi­cers dur­ing an­ti-crime ex­er­cis­es, con­duct­ed in the North East­ern and Port of Spain Di­vi­sions this

week.

The first ex­er­cise was con­duct­ed be­tween 11 am and 4 pm, on Tues­day, and in­clud­ed of­fi­cers of the Task Force and Gang and In­tel­li­gence Unit.

Dur­ing the op­er­a­tion, three men, ages 20 to 26, all of Mor­vant, were ar­rest­ed for gang-re­lat­ed of­fences.

A sim­i­lar ex­er­cise was al­so con­duct­ed be­tween 2 am and 5:30 am, on Wednes­day and in­clud­ed of­fi­cers of the Barataria Crim­i­nal In­ves­ti­ga­tions De­part­ment, Port of Spain Gang Unit and the In­ter-Agency Task Force.

One 44-year-old male sus­pect of Mor­vant was ar­rest­ed in con­nec­tion with gang-re­lat­ed of­fences dur­ing the ex­er­cise.
