A Caroni labourer is said to be scared for his life after a gun attack at his home.
The 50-year-old man was asleep at his Allen Trace, Kelly Village, home when at about 12.30 am on Tuesday he was awakened by the sound of gunshots.
He immediately got on the floor of his bedroom and waited until the gunshots stopped. After a few minutes he went outside and saw several bullet holes in the walls of his house.
The man contacted the police and said his life is under threat but he did not know why. Acting Cpl Bachus of the Caroni Police Station is investigating.
