The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service has officially discontinued the high wind alert issued for Tobago and parts of Trinidad, stating that the strongest winds have now passed.

The green-level alert, which was in effect from Monday evening, was lifted at 4:00 pm Tuesday. While breezy conditions may still linger and occasional gusts are possible—especially near showers—forecasters say the likelihood of winds exceeding 55 km/h has dropped significantly.

Sea conditions remain choppy, and marine interests are still advised to exercise caution. The public is encouraged to stay informed via official updates at www.metoffice.gov.tt.
