Hyatt goes pink for Cancer Awareness

Hy­att Re­gency Trinidad is once again sup­port­ing Can­cer Aware­ness month by fly­ing pink flags on its flag­poles at the en­trance to the ho­tel and by al­so dis­play­ing a pink strip of light on its build­ing. "We are com­mit­ted to as­sist in the fight against can­cer," says gen­er­al man­ag­er Rus­sell George, "and again this year we have con­tin­ued the pink flags and lights for the month of Oc­to­ber, to fur­ther high­light the ef­forts and in­crease can­cer aware­ness." For the past three years, the ho­tel has col­lab­o­rat­ed with and sup­port­ed the Trinidad and To­ba­go Can­cer So­ci­ety and the Can­cer Treat­ment Foun­da­tion in their var­i­ous fund-rais­ing ac­tiv­i­ties.

In ad­di­tion, Hy­att Re­gency Trinidad is al­so do­nat­ing to the Can­cer So­ci­ety and the Foun­da­tion, 20 per cent of its sales of Af­ter­noon Tea as well as 20 per cent of sales of se­lect­ed treat­ments at Spa Es­en­cia. In part­ner­ship with the Trinidad and To­ba­go Can­cer So­ci­ety the ho­tel will again host 50 can­cer sur­vivors to break­fast this month.
