Po­lice are search­ing for two men who robbed and shot a man dur­ing a home in­va­sion in White­land.

Daniel John­son, 57, was shot on his fore­head and is now ward­ed in a crit­i­cal con­di­tion, po­lice said. 

A re­port stat­ed that around 1:15 am, two men armed with guns en­tered John­son's home at Par­adise Av­enue.

They pro­ceed­ed to John­son's bed­room where they an­nounced a hold up and robbed him of $42,000.  When they were leav­ing, they shot him on his fore­head. 

His 17-year-old son, who was in the oth­er room, found his fa­ther ly­ing in a pool of blood. 

John­son is ward­ed in a se­ri­ous con­di­tion at the San Fer­nan­do Gen­er­al Hos­pi­tal.

Gas­par­il­lo po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing.
