Police are probing the murder of a man in Valsayn on Saturday morning.
Police said officers of the St Joseph Police District received a report of a shooting on Bassie Street Extension, Spring Village, Valsayn, around 10:35 am and went to the scene.
On reaching the area, officers found the body of Akel Modeste slumped behind the wheel of a yellow Toyota Aqua.
Modeste had several gunshot wounds to the head and body.
Investigators were told that two passengers were seen in the backseat of the car and were later seen running away.
A silver wagon was also seen in the area which police suspect was used to transport the suspects.
Police said the vehicle belonged to Total Convenience Management (TCM) Roadside Assistance.
In a statement, founder of the TCM Group, Kirk Waith lamented Modeste's murder and described him as a dedicated employee.
"Akel will be fondly remembered for his boisterous passion for customer service." He referred to every client with whom he interfaced as 'my client.' "Akel and his family remain in our thoughts and prayers. He will be greatly missed."
Waith noted that Modeste was an employee for almost ten years.
Police from the Homicide Bureau of Investigations Region II are continuing enquiries.
