Kid­nap vic­tim Ju­nior O’Con­nor was ward­ed at the Er­ic Williams Med­ical Sci­ences Com­plex in Mt Hope last evening af­ter he was found in Ch­agua­nas yes­ter­day.

Guardian Me­dia was told that O’Con­nor was found in a bushy area in Long­denville by res­i­dents. He was said to be bad­ly bruised and had to re­ceive stitch­es to the head.

Ac­cord­ing to sur­veil­lance footage con­fis­cat­ed by po­lice of­fi­cers, O’Con­nor, a re­tired ma­son, was stand­ing with a woman when a white four-door pick­up stopped and a man got out and robbed the woman of her hand­bag.

The hand­bag con­tained her cell­phone, bank cards and oth­er doc­u­ments.

When the woman ran away, the thief grabbed O’Con­nor and placed him in the back­seat of the ve­hi­cle and drove off.

O’Con­nor is orig­i­nal­ly from To­ba­go but has been liv­ing in Cen­tral for the past 15 years.
