Min­is­ter of En­er­gy and En­er­gy In­dus­tries and Min­is­ter in the Of­fice of the Prime Min­is­ter, Stu­art Young has met with rep­re­sen­ta­tives from the UN­HCR.

Ac­cord­ing to a re­lease from the Min­istry, Yes­ter­day's talks were part of an in­tro­duc­to­ry meet­ing to dis­cuss ini­tia­tives and projects of the or­ga­ni­za­tion that may be of as­sis­tance to the Gov­ern­ment of Trinidad and To­ba­go.

It said the UN­HCR in­formed Min­is­ter Young of some of the work that they have done with the Gov­ern­ment and as­sured him that they are com­mit­ted to work­ing with the Gov­ern­ment.
