Missing Persons Alerts have been issued for two teenaged girls who went missing last week—one from Guaico Tamana; the other from San Fernando—and the Police Service is seeking the public’s help in locating their whereabouts.
14-year-old NEKEILA LEWIS, of Guaico Tamana, was last seen on November 18, 2023. She was reported missing to the Cumuto Police Station one day later (November 19).
NEKEILA is of African descent, approximately five feet and two inches in height, is dark brown in complexion and has an oval face and black hair. She was last seen wearing a Mickey Mouse teeshirt, black knee-length pants and a pair of sandals.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of NEKEILA LEWIS is asked to call the Cumuto Police Station at 643-9357.
Meanwhile, 13-year-old JANIAH BRATHWATIE was reported missing to the San Fernando Police Station on November 19, 2023.
JANIAH, of San Fernando, was last seen two days before, on November 17.
She is of mixed descent, approximately five feet in height, has a slim build, is light brown in complexion and has black, curly, shoulder-length hair.
JANIAH was last seen wearing her school uniform—a white shirt, dark blue skirt with a red, white and blue tie and a pair of black sneakers.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of JANIAH BRATHWATIE is asked to call the San Fernando Police Station at 652-2858.
