The Min­istry of Health pro­vides the fol­low­ing clin­i­cal up­date as of the morn­ing of Mon­day 10th Au­gust, 2020:

 Num­ber of sam­ples sub­mit­ted to the Caribbean Pub­lic Health Agency (CARPHA) and UWI site for test­ing for­COVID-19  10,943

 Num­ber of unique pa­tient tests com­plet­ed  9,357

 Num­ber of re­peat­ed tests  1,586

 Num­ber of sam­ples which have test­ed pos­i­tive  280

 Num­ber of deaths  8

 Num­ber of per­sons dis­charged  138
   

The Min­istry of Health pro­vides the fol­low­ing up­date:

       One (1) ad­di­tion­al per­son has test­ed pos­i­tive for COVID -19. The case is pend­ing epi­demi­o­log­i­cal in­ves­ti­ga­tion.  All es­tab­lished pro­to­cols have been im­ple­ment­ed.

          Three (3) per­sons have been dis­charged from the Cau­ra Hos­pi­tal.

COVID-19 Pos­i­tive Pa­tients in Hos­pi­tal – (109).  Five (5) pa­tients are en route/ be­ing ad­mit­ted to hos­pi­tal.
