An uniden­ti­fied man was shot dead in San Fer­nan­do last night. Po­lice re­spond­ed to a call of a man ly­ing mo­tion­less on the road at Cross Cross­ing near Is­land Colour Print­ing. The of­fi­cers got to the scene around 10.05 pm.

The de­ceased was ly­ing face down. He had a gun­shot wound to the back. Po­lice de­scribed him as African de­scent, medi­um built, dark brown com­plex­ion, short gray­ish beard and a low hair­cut. Of­fi­cers of the South­ern Di­vi­sion vis­it­ed the scene.
