Police are investigating a murder along the Western Main Road near to the West Shore Medical Private Hopsital in Cocorite.
Reports indicate that around 5:30 pm gunmen opened fire on a white Nissan B15.
The vehicle subsequently drove to the Four Roads Police Station.
The driver was unhurt.
However, a man identified as Adisa Harry of Waterhole, Cocorite was pronounced dead.
A man and woman, also of Waterhole, Cocorite were shot and injured.
They were subsequently taken to hospital for medical treatment.
The shooting has led to a massive traffic pile-up heading into parts of western Trinidad.
