Min­is­ter of Agri­cul­ture, Land and Fish­eries Ravi Rati­ram pre­sent­ed in­stru­ments of ap­point­ment to the new Board of Di­rec­tors of the Pa­lo Seco Agri­cul­tur­al En­ter­pris­es Lim­it­ed (PSAEL) dur­ing a cer­e­mo­ny at the Min­istry’s Head Of­fice in Ch­agua­nas.

The new Board com­pris­es:

Dan­ny Ma­haraj – Chair­man

Ra­jiv Chaitoo – Deputy Chair­man

Shan­ty Boodram – Di­rec­tor

Am­bereesh Ram – Di­rec­tor

Neil Ram­s­ingh – Di­rec­tor

PSAEL, a state en­ter­prise un­der the Min­istry of Agri­cul­ture, Land and Fish­eries, is man­dat­ed to man­age and de­vel­op state lands for agri­cul­tur­al and oth­er pro­duc­tive us­es, es­pe­cial­ly in rur­al com­mu­ni­ties.

In ad­dress­ing the new Board, Rati­ram urged its mem­bers to work col­lab­o­ra­tive­ly to boost ef­fi­cien­cy and ef­fec­tive­ness across PSAEL’s op­er­a­tions. “Your ap­point­ment is not just a ti­tle; it is a call to ac­tion,” he said. High­light­ing the wider role of the agency, he added, “Your role is more than land man­age­ment; it is about strength­en­ing agri­cul­ture and build­ing sus­tain­able com­mu­ni­ties.”
