A shoot­ing in El Do­ra­do on Mon­day night end­ed in the death of a 33-year-old Orop­une man.

Po­lice said res­i­dents last saw Mark Di­al dri­ving a rent­ed sil­ver Nis­san AD Wag­on on Clemen­ty Street, around 10.15 pm.

A short while lat­er res­i­dents heard gun­shots and called the po­lice.

Of­fi­cers of the Tu­na­puna CID vis­it­ed the scene and found Di­al's body bleed­ing from gun­shot wounds on a walk­way be­tween two hous­es.

A dis­trict med­ical of­fi­cer vis­it­ed the scene and de­clared Di­al dead.

In­ves­ti­ga­tors al­so found 10 spent 9 mm shells and $4,460 cash.

Po­lice from the Homi­cide Bu­reau of In­ves­ti­ga­tions Re­gion II are con­tin­u­ing en­quiries.
