Three people who were being treated at a spa and clinic in Barataria on Monday, were reportedly robbed by gunmen posing as medical personnel.
The victims included a 17-year-old of Gill Street, Sangre Grande; two women aged 51 and 73, of Ramgoolie Street, Curepe; along with the 37-year-old female owner of San Antonio Street, San Juan.
The victims were at the well-known establishment around 12.30 pm on September 11, when two men wearing white-coloured medical PPE suits covering their heads and blue-coloured medical masks covering their faces, entered.
As one of the men pulled out a firearm, the second man walked up-stairs demanding to know about an appointment that had been scheduled for 1 pm that very day.
When the owner refused to divulge any information about the client, the two bandits tied up the victims and robbed them of a total of TT $2200 in cash before running off.
